is a 'fluid enhancer' consisting of two specially designed
low molecular weight polyethylene's. PolarWhite™
has been developed to carry a negative charge when
dispersed in the base fluids, this charge enhances the bond
between rock and PolarWhite™ particles.
WhiteFury™ the second component has
been micronized to aid in the creation of an 'engineered filter
cake'. The synergy of the two products creates wellbore integrity
enhancements, inhibition as well as multiple other benefits.

Onshore and offshore wells require the inhibition of a salt
based system, yet the environmental aspects of a fresh water
based system. Wells that require added wellbore protection
to minimize and prevent hole issues such as sloughing, caving
and swelling.
Due to the unique properties of the PolarBond™
system, this fluid enhancer can be run in any base system.
PolarBond™ is malleable and effectively
creates a barrier between wellbore and formation using self
adhesion to form a grouting effect.
PolarBond™ combines the inhibitive
properties of salt based fluids with the environmental properties
of water based fluids. PolarBond™ in
non-toxic and can easily be disposed of or reused on a multi-well
project.

PolarWhite™ is a low molecular weight
polyethylene that has been specially developed to carry a negative
charge when dispersed in the drilling fluid. Its unique chemistry
allows it to act as a secondary source of inhibition when used
in conjunction with an inhibitive base fluid. The synergy between
the two products means that costs may be reduced by running
lower concentrations of inhibitor while maintaining effective
inhibition. In areas where hole stability is a concern, the
combination of charge and particle size in the PolarWhite™
produces and engineered filter cake that significantly increases
both wellbore stability and strengthening. |

has been micronized for producing a barrier between fluid and
wellbore. It's molecular weight distribution and micronized
particle size makes it ideal for producing an engineered filter
cake. The particle size and chemistries of the PolarWhite™
and WhiteFury™ are complementary. Together
they form PolarBond™. |
