was specifically designed to establish a barrier between the
wellbore and the surrounding rock matrix. This barrier prevents
high cost oil based fluids from escaping the circulating system
thus reducing fluid cost. For water-based fluids it provides
a moisture barrier in the filter cake. Seal-AX™
is a fully-refined, non-reactive, and non-toxic solid polyethylene
additive.
